Forest Service Trip Report for Sherman on January 22nd, 2017

Bob Frenes reports that the trail head is moved down to below the Cherry Hill Road gate.

Trail 101 was groomed to the Sherman Pass Vista. So far there is four feet of new snow for a total of nine (9) feet at the vista not counting today's snow and it's snowing up there right now.

Eric will be starting to groom Greenhorn this week. Sherman probably won't be groomed until Friday, January 27th to allow the snow to settle. Four feet of fresh is a little too much for the PB400 to groom.

See the pictures below of all the snow up there. Oh and at the Kernville work center!
