Very sorry we had to reschedule SnowFest.
Incoming snow storm would have been too cold for the clients.
New schedule is for March 19th.

Carl,

Don, If you're staying in Wofford Heights you can trailer to the snow line up past Johnsondale. From there it's the Western Divide Highway all the way to Pondo. Should be a nice ride. From Parker Pass to Pondo is 13 miles of wonderfull road right through the Trail of the a Hundred Giants. Johnsondale to Parker Pass is 7 miles.

a group of riders tried to ride to ponderosa from Sugarloaf early in the season and the road was washed out from the big rain a mile or so past the cattle guard along Burnt ridge. Also a lot of downed trees.

Don, It's the route we took a couple years ago across Greenhorn, up through the Sequoia trees. Quaking Aspen is over by the resturant we stopped at and got gas in Ponderosa.

Its possible to get to Pondo from the Kern river side. You have to ride out of Greenhorn. It will be about 100 miles round trip and it can be a tough ride if trails aren't groomed from Greenhorn to Pondo. But if they are groomed its smooth riding especially once you get on the Western Divide Highway.
