Yea, Christina said you two headed out towards the direction of Bald Mtn. We followed fresh tracks for awhile then caught up with those other riders we saw at the yurt. We stopped at Blackrock for a bit and figured you two went off somewhere else. We went north from there up around Granite Knob and then back into Fish Creek and then home. It was dark by the time we got to the truck. Great time on the east side. Hopefully head back up in a couple weeks, wanna get up near Monache.

Nice to see all you out enjoying the forest.
Roy, Justin, and Jeremy nice to see you having a good time.
Mike, Jesse and your sweetheart were having a great time.
Mike when we left the Yurt my daughter shot up the 106 and proceeded to get stuck several times so by the time we were at the Bald mountain trailhead you were not around.

I brought my entire family up the next day ... all 6 of us shuttled on two sleds and one rode a 120 from the trailhead on the river side to the first turnoff and played around.

Thanks all for the good times.

Good to see you again Roy.. East side is getting thin, we unloaded at the Forest boundary/Kern Fork, just past the General Store. About 5" on the road and some patches of asphalt just past the gate. Half mile past, you're good to go and then the snow just gets deeper, 4-5' from Rodeo Flats and beyond. Conditions are great north of Fish Creek up around the 113 trail and into Smith and Powell Meadows. Most of the smaller creeks are bridged over, but some exposed water can be found on the larger drainages. Some great riding on the east side now with good snow, need a good cold storm to get some better coverage in the 5-6K ft zone.

Rode Sherman Saturday and the snow is awesome. There is 6 feet at the summit. Bob and Eric started grooming Saturday and will finish up Monday. The trails are in great shape. The snow is stilll soft and deep off trail which makes for great boondocking. We rode to the Yurt and Don Brown and his dsughter was there from the West side and Mike Garland and his wife and son were there and came in from the East side. Mike reported unloading at Kennedy Meadows so the snow is low on that side.

Get out and ride and be safe.
